10 Used Cars That Witnessed Biggest Year-on-Year Price Increase in September 2022
Secondhand vehicle prices increased for the 30th consecutive month in September, even with the high cost of living that could deter new car shoppers.
Auto Trader disclosed that the average cost of a secondhand vehicle stands at£17,409, and still, some models are selling at a higher price than the previous year. The agency has released the top 10 performing models of September 2022.
The data shows the smaller cars lead, with the Fiat Punto taking the highest rank, moving up a notch compared to last month.
The Punto was selling at an average price of £4,854 last month, signifying a year-on-year increase of 42.5 per cent.
The Fiat hatchback takes the place of the Peugeot 107 that was at the top previously, and now has moved to the second position with year-on-year price growth of 38.9 per cent.
The 107 is followed by the Peugeot 207, the Ford Fusion, and the Vauxhall Agila. These models unite with the Renault Scenic, the Fiat Panda, and the Vauxhall Meriva.
The ten used cars list with the highest rise in value also comprises two Toyota vehicles - the Avensis and the Prius.
