Do you know which Car has been Finalized for World Car Awards
Ford Mustang Mach-E, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Kia EV6 Finalised for World Car Awards
We now have front-runners for the World Car Awards, and surprisingly all of them are electric for the first time ever.
The three finalists include the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Kia EV6, with the last two EVs from the South Korean duo lately winning the highest accolades in the UK and European Car of the Year awards separately.
The Mustang Mach-E is Ford’s first mass-market electric vehicle, boasting up to 380 miles of driving range and sturdy looks.
On the other hand, the Ioniq 5 and EV6 are both built on the E-GMP platform developed by the Hyundai Group. Since the Korean automaker built it specifically for electric vehicles, the engineers managed to optimize it for extra space inside.
Furthermore, the company’s 800-volt electrical architecture is highly efficient, offering owners to juice up from 10 to 80 per cent in only 18 minutes. This fast-charging ability makes them two of the quickest charging vehicles available so far.
As far as the styling is concerned, the Ioniq 5 follows retro design elements, while the EV6 is Kia’s most daring-looking vehicle yet.
Besides, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 are the two most famous electric vehicles on Auto Trader, according to Car Dealer.
