Exterior
Beginning with aesthetic enhancements, the facelift encompasses a wide range of modifications. Towards the front, the Touareg showcases a redesigned grille, bumper, and headlights, lending it a notably assertive appearance. As for the rear, a luminous VW emblem complements a full-width light bar. Additionally, there are newly crafted wheel patterns, with options extending up to 21 inches in diameter.

Interior
There will be four different options to consider when it comes to the variants: Touareg, Elegance, R-Line, and the high-performance Touareg R. Each model will come equipped with VW's advanced 'Innovision Cockpit,' featuring a spacious 12-inch driver display and a 15-inch infotainment screen. The voice control and satellite navigation systems have received upgrades, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto now offer wireless connectivity.

Standard Amenities
Additional features that come as standard include an automated rear door warmed seats in the front, a camera for parking assistance, a keyless entry system, and a cruise control system that adjusts to changing traffic conditions. The Elegance and R-Line models offer advanced LED headlights, distinct bumpers, a redesigned grille, and exclusive interior materials with ambient lighting effects.
Powertrains
The upcoming models will maintain the current selection of five powertrains; all centered around 3.0-litre V6 engines. For the diesel TDI, you can choose between 227bhp and 282bhp, while the pure-petrol variant offers 335bhp. Additionally, two petrol hybrids are available, one delivering 376bhp and the other reserved exclusively for the Touareg R, providing 455bhp. Volkswagen assures that they have made enhancements to both the standard suspension and the optional air suspension to enhance both comfort and maneuverability.
