The UK's Top Car: Can Anyone Stop the Ford Puma?
The Ford Puma is still the top dog when it comes to car sales in the UK. It's been number one for seven months this year! Will it stay there until the end of 2025? If it does, it will be the best-selling car for two years in a row.
Even though the Puma is doing great, the overall new car market is having a bit of a tough time. But there are some good signs. More new cars were sold in June than last year, about 6.4% more, which means 191,316 cars. Also, electric car sales are doing really well, jumping up by 39.1% compared to last year, with 47,354 sold.

8. Hyundai Tucson - 15,496 units

The Hyundai Tucson is one of the most popular SUVs in the UK and is often in the top 10. It might be the fanciest car on this list, and it also looks really interesting with its unique lights. Many people in the UK like its comfortable inside and the different hybrid engine options it has.
9. Volvo XC40 - 15,267 units

Even though it's eight years old, the Volvo XC40 is often in the top 10, and it's currently selling about as well as the fancy Hyundai Tucson. Volkswagen's popular family SUV has been one of its best-sellers for a long time. It's the second car from Volkswagen on this list, after the Golf. It also comes with good stuff already included, like a backup camera, parking sensors, wireless smartphone connection, and two digital screens.
